make it happen
week
12-16 May 2025
with Christina Poulton
If you wear all the hats and writing bids is one thing on your to-do list, it’s stressful. There’s no one to bounce ideas off, no one to answer your questions, and no one to cheer when you finally hit submit.
Hiring a bid writer is often out of budget, and besides, no one can tell the story of your work like you can!
That’s where the Funding Bids: Make It Happen Week comes in.
A Clear Plan to Get Your Bid Done
Sign up to get a focused week of action designed to help you plan, write, and submit a strong funding application, with support every step of the way.
Here’s how it works:
✅ Bid Writing Training – Any-time access to video training (normally £35 on its own).
My step-by-step approach to crafting fundable applications.
✅ Kick-off Co-working Session (Monday 12 May) – Get set up, get focused, and get writing with others in the same boat.
✅ Daily Support – Get your questions answered and stay motivated. Work on your bid at whatever days or times suit you and your availability during the week
✅ Final Push Co-working Session (Friday 16 May) – Focused time to get it done, with encouragement from me and the whole group!
✅ Individual Bid Feedback- Share your draft with me by the end of the week for a list of suggestions and tweaks to make it even stronger.
and I’ll be there to celebrate when you hit submit!
Why This Works
🚀 You’ll stop overthinking and actually get the bid written
💡 You’ll feel more confident in your application (and future ones!).
🎉 You won’t be doing it alone—you’ll have me and the rest of the gang cheering you on
⏱️You can do it in your own time- do a bit each day or work round your calendar and blitz it whenever suits (you don't have to be available all day Monday to Friday!)
We’ll work together and do it differently: let’s get that bid written and submitted!
Who are you?
Hi, I’m Christina (she/her).
I work with charities, CICs and community orgs to make your work easier to manage and fund. There’s more about me here.
I have run and successfully fundraised for many organisations, including £4.2 million+ in successful funding bids.
I’ve also trained 1500+ people in fundraising and organisation set up. My training and resources are always action focused, jargon-busting and high energy so you get the info you need and your questions answered.
When you run a non-profit, you’re often doing it all – and often by yourself. If that's you, then you’re in the right place. Get some support, your questions answered and your bid written!
The main shebang is Monday 12- Friday 16 May and you can work whenever suits you (you don't have to work all day every day!)
There are optional co-working sessions on Monday 12th at 10.30am and Friday 16th at 10.30am (1 hour sessions).
You can do the video training (approx. 1 hour watch time total) any time- you get access as soon as you've signed up.
You can also work on your bid at whatever times suit you during the week. I'll share tips and ideas in our online group each day and answer your questions within 24 hours (and much quicker wherever possible).
You'll need to choose the funder you want to apply to and what it is you want to get funding for, before the week starts. There are a couple of prep things that will make the week easier for you, and I'll send these out on email in the week or two beforehand (stuff like getting the questions you need to answer into a document, ready to write).
£47, which includes the training (normally £35).
This is a one off bargain launch price, to get professional bid writing support at your beck and call for the week! Next time I run this week it will be at the normal price of £97. So it's basically 50% off.
The video training has audio and captions (edited by me to be accurate, not just AI generated). You can ask questions and receive responses by voice message, text, online community or email- whatever works best for you. If you need things in any other format just let me know. You can work at a time and pace to suit you over the week.
We'll use an online community (a bit like a Facebook group) where I will post stuff and you can ask questions. I also use a free app called Voxer, which works like Whatsapp, if you prefer to send voicenotes or images.
If you email me a draft of your bid (max 2 sides of A4), by end of Friday at the latest, I will send you a list of suggestions and tips for making it even stronger.
You don't need to remember what's happening when, I'll send you a quick email update each day with everything you need and the zoom links for the co-working sessions.
