Individual Giving:
how to get more donations
When it comes to strategy, funding bids or governance, I'm there, but there's obviously other stuff- and other brilliant people- that can support you and your work. So I'm offering some guest workshops.
David runs Apollo Fundraising. They support charities and non-profits in the arts, cultural and heritage sectors who have exciting plans but aren’t sure how best to fund them. Whether your focus is on arts and culture or not, David's advice is solid gold and will be useful to any small organisation if you want to increase the donations you get or learn how to get started.
David is going to be talking us through his 5 step plan to getting started with individual giving (individual people giving one off or regular cash donations to support your work) and will share his top tips to help you bring in more income from individuals.

Who are you?
Hi, I’m Christina (she/her).
I work with charities, CICs and community orgs to make your work easier to manage and fund. There’s more about me here.
I have run and successfully fundraised for many organisations, including £4.2 million+ in successful funding bids.
I’ve also trained 1500+ people in fundraising and organisation set up. My training and resources are always action focused, jargon-busting and high energy so you get the info you need and your questions answered.
When you run a non-profit, you’re often doing it all – and often by yourself. If that's you, then you’re in the right place. You also get access to my monthly email support- Sticky-note Squad, when you sign up to this workshop.
About David
I met David through some brilliant training he was delivering and then kept in touch when he supported an event I was doing to kick off about some terrible government policies (but that's another story). I love David's combination of experience, knowledge and humour. He focuses on developing realistic and achievable fundraising strategies so that organisations can actually implement those plans.
As well as running Apollo Fundraising since 2016, David has also worked as a fundraising trainer and a fundraising consultant supporting Universities and education institutes. He's also been hands on as Interim Head of Fundraising at the Royal Pavilion & Museums in Brighton and Interim Head of Development at Dulwich Picture Gallery.
Highlights have included Helping Ipswich Museum build a new home for a 100-year-old Rhino, supporting Nevill Holt Opera to smash their fundraising target with their first major donor campaign, and working with the home of the UK’s Leather and Fetish archive articulate their Case for Support.

p.s. There are also lots of great free resources on his website and he's very entertaining- and useful- on LinkedIn
